PVA

PVA is needed for when you strip paper and a drywall is revealed. It provides a sound base for re lining walls.

Farrow & Ball

Worsted no 284 is a lovely grey colour. Very in at the moment. I used the Estate Emulsion Matt finish.

2 Part Filler

A great way to make good external woodwork. It’s rock hard in minuets and can be rubbed down and painted over in 30 mins. Brilliant to build up where rot is present.

Papering Tips.

When wallpapering always loosen the plug and light switches to get the paper behind. Then you can screw them back when paper is dry. Turn off electrics at the mains to work in a safe manner.

Cordless Sander

A great tool if you need a sander doing external work up a ladder. A cordless sander.

2 Part Filler

2 part filler is great for rotten wooden windows. It goes rock hard withing minutes and you can rub it down and apply primer over it within 30 minuets.

Crown Fast Flow Gloss

By far the best waterbased gloss system I have used. When it dries it looks like a solvent gloss but the advantages are it’s quick drying and easy to use over Fast Flow Undercoat. It also doesn’t yellow and  can make working external alot quicker and easier.
