I chose to do this kitchen in Dulux Diamond Matt as it can be scrubbed if any food spillage or stains hit the walls. Ideal for a kitchen as it has a nice modern matt finish.

Exterior Water based paint
Exterior all in water based products. Sadolin superdec Satin on woodwork and Sandtex Smooth on masonry. Superdec comes in a big range of colours as does Sandtex.

A big job. Millbrook village hall was a task but got there in the end.
Papered Feature Wall
I did this papered feature wall today. I started with the focal point which is the fireplace and worked my way each end to the corners. This was a paste the wall half drop pattern paper.

I did this grey feature wall after I did the other walls in natural calico. I bring my lines in slightly to get a nice edge as the plasterers lines are not always great.

I had walls mixed in a Farrow And Ball Conforth white into a Crown Clean Extreme which is a scrubbable matt. Farrow And Ball Estate Eggshell
Farrow and Ball Estate Eggshell is what I used on these wardrobe doors. It really transformed these tired old doors. The colour is Cornforth White which is like a light grey colour. It took around three coats to cover.
Sadolin Classic Woodstain
Dried out shiplap boarding was in need of preserving. So I chose to use Sadolin Classic Woodstain in Teak. You can see the difference straight away. I will top coat it in Sadolin Extra which is a Satin Woodstain to protect the wood. It’s a thicker stain than the classic and has a nice finish.
